As an experienced tutor, I always have an educated idea of the grades my students are realistically working towards. This helps me identify how to move them up to the next level. One thing I NEVER do, however, is place limits on a student’s potential, either in my own mind or in what I say to them.
This year’s results day was truly incredible – over 90% of grades came in higher than I expected.
One student achieved 11 top grades across the board.
Some of my least confident students proudly secured solid 6s – a huge step forward that shows what’s possible with the right support.
It has been a privilege to witness the achievements of these young people and to see their self-belief grow.
